Resort Management Group – a local Fairfield Harbour Timeshare Business - Gives back to Habitat for H

Resort Management Group (RMG) believes in giving back to the community for worthy causes. Employees are encouraged to select their favorite charity and lead the project within RMG. Sharon Bowerman chose Habitual for Humanity as her volunteer charity. As a result, RMG supports Habitat on two levels.

  1. RMG provided the snacks for the Habitat for Humanity Annual Collegiate Challenge during March 2018. Colleges throughout the country select a Habitat affiliate they would like to visit for a week as an alternative to their Spring Break vacation. Habitat for Humanity of Craven County participated by hosting a total of 92 students from the Georgian Court University (NJ), University of Florida, University of Scranton, University of Delaware and St. Mary’s Catholic High School (MI). Visiting volunteers were hosted by area churches; water, snacks, lunches and dinners were provided by local residents and businesses to express appreciation during their stay. RMG was proud to provide the snacks for the University of Delaware this year. Photo above: University of Delaware students spend their Spring Break building houses for Habitat for Humanity. As a community service, RMG supplied snack for the students during that week.

  1. For the past six years, Sharon supported the Women’s Build Project. Habitat for Humanity and Lowe’s engage women nationwide to work together to build Habitat homes during this year’s National Women Build Week from May 5-13. Sharon finds the Women Build Project especially gratifying. She says, “It is rewarding to witness the teamwork that goes into building a house. It is a dream come true for the homeowner. Each house is built with love. Volunteers are encouraged to sign their name and add a special message in a corner of the house while it is under construction. The hand written messages are painted over during the final stages but the messages remain in spirit and love.” Photo left: RMG support Women Build in New Bern for Habitat for Humanity.

RMG also donates gentled used furniture and appliances to Habitat for Humanity when the Timeshare Association make renovations to their units. Thank you RMG for your superb service to the community!
