Vrrrrrrrroom!

On a beautiful Saturday in late October, there was a successful car show sponsored by Fairfield Harbour Neighborhood Watch (FHNW) who educates the community on home & neighborhood security issues.

The cars in this show (held in the Community Center parking lot) were not formally categorized by class but were judged by pre-defined groups on appearance and public interest. The entrants, with a wide range of body shapes and designs, spanned more than 80 years of auto history and included a few sports cars from the more modern era.

As usual you didn’t have to look too far for the owners of the show cars. They were the proud ones comfortably sitting right behind their “rides”. They don’t hesitate to tell you where they got their car, what they did to it and what they still plan to do with it. These owners love to tell the story of their pride and joy.

Family Tire & Auto Service along with Big Apple Pizzeria were the corporate sponsors. Tom’s Tunes (Tom & Dahlin’), Fairfield Harbour residents, donated their wonderful DJ and Karaoke services to the occasion.

Family Tire provided information about tires and service to one and all and with Big Apple severing up some hot & tasty pizza as the food and beverage vendor making the 1st FHNW car show very successful.
