10th Annual East Carolina Pottery Festival

ArtWalk is a fun, casual celebration of art and community in downtown New Bern, held every second Friday of each month (yes, even in winter!). It begins at 5 p.m. and usually goes till 8 p.m.–but on warm summer nights, it has been known to go on until 10 o’clock. You’re invited to stroll along the sidewalks, drop in on shops and galleries, and dine at one of many fine restaurants and lively taverns on your way.

Sweeney Todd had become a bloody, worldwide success since being awarded eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, for its Broadway premiere.
An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth-century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up… and the carnage has only just begun! 2018 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show

The commanding officer of Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point invites you to visit the Marine Corps' largest air base for the 2018 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show, featuring the world's top aviation aerobatic team, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels. And for the first time ever, the Cherry Point show will feature two world-class jet aerobatic teams when the Canadian Snow Birds jet team joins the lineup!
Beginning with a spectacular night show on Friday, May 4, the skies will light up with jet afterburners, jet-assisted takeoffs, wingtip pyrotechnics, sky-diving demonstrations, incredible speed demonstrations by the jet truck Shockwave, plus the crowd-pleasing "wall of flame," all culminating with a massive fireworks display. Gates open Friday, May 4 at 5 p.m.
As always, the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will provide the grand finale both days!
