Fairfield loves the holidays!
'Tis the season for merriment and Fairfield Harbor knows how to celebrate the holidays with time tested traditions. Here are two popular events coming up:
1) Fairfield Harbour 21th Annual Christmas Parade is set for Sunday, December 3 at 3:00pm.
NEW SHORTER ROUTE: Starts at the Cart Barn on Pelican Drive, crosses Gondolier Drive to Helm Drive and ends at Red Sail Park. Lineup: 2:30, Parade kickoff: 3:00pm.
RED SAIL FESTIVITIES: Complimentary food from FH community clubs and the 2017 Parade committee for participants and attendees. Red Sail festivities last until 6:00pm.
HOW TO JOIN THE PARADE: Pick up the application from the POA office or download at www.cbcfh.com/2017-parade . Deadline: November 20.
The FH Parade is sponsored by the CBCFH (Cooperative Business Council of Fairfield Harbour) and Fairfield Harbour POA.
2) FHYC Flotilla and Chili Party is set for Saturday, December 9.
Join the 2017 FHYC Flotilla! Adorn your boat with holiday lights and line up for the boat parade. The route will be through the Inner Harbour to raft-up and sing carols to the spectators ashore. After the flotilla, the group meets at the community center for the chili party, laughter and comradery. All captains must be at the Captains meeting to discuss rafting instructions and weather.
