Wings Over Bridgeton

Seaplane fly-ins, also known as “splash-ins” occur when numbers of pilots and families decide to fly to a specific area for a gathering. The aircraft are spectacular to watch as they land and take off from the water’s surface but more than that, they spend much of the day doing flying exhibitions.
Ghostwalk 2017, Heroes & Hooligans: They Walk Among Us

Visit ghost sites in homes, churches, businesses and Cedar Grove Cemetery in New Bern’s Historic District and meet spirits of New Bern’s past who will share their stories with you. Get to know some of New Bern’s real characters and scoundrels. Catch up with the Dowd family and their Verigood Bakery, this time in the Cold War period. Witness special spirited presentations at the historic Athens and the Masonic theatres. Don’t worry, all these ghosts are from New Bern’s history, not from science fiction!
