Young Families in Fairfield Harbour

Fairfield Harbour is not just for retirees. A growing number of young families are enjoying all the amenities the resort community has to offer. Young families with small children living in Fairfield Harbour created innovative ways to find and connect to each other. They recognized the need for child and family-friendly groups and activities that appeal to their specific needs and interests, which is why they formed Young Families of Fairfield. These moms recently began a Facebook group to start the ball rolling, and there are currently 53 members. The ideas are already flowing, from forming a running club, yoga classes, various mommy-and-me activities, and crafts specific for the children. The new group will hold bi-monthly Meet and Greet events which include a potluck-style meal and activities and games for the children at the Fairfield Harbour Community Center.
