Harbour Point Golf Raises Funds for Colonial Capital Humane Society

On October 29, 2016, Harbour Pointe Golf Club hosted the Inaugural Colonial Capital Humane Society golf tournament to raise funds for facility expenses to help continue to rescue cats and dogs. Colonial Capital is funded solely on donations and volunteers. The golf outing raised over $2,000 for the humane society which will go directly to improving the facilities to get up to code and stay operational.

Harbour Pointe Golf Club (HPGC) is a semi-private course that allows non-members to book tee times and play. Design includes four sets of tees on holes that weave in and out of our community. The course also offers a stunning view of a Neuse River tributary called Upper Broad Creek which stretches across more than a half-mile of blue water.

This traditional golf course is a par-72 championship course listed at 6,577 yards that was designed to take advantage of the occasional wetlands and some scenic shoreline. The par-3 17th hole offers a spectacular view of marsh and blue water immediately before the course's tree-lined, dogleg left par-5 finishing hole. Of course, there’s also always that chance for that hole in one on 17!

Golf at HPGC has wonderful views including wildlife that is only disturbed by the clank of the bouncing golf clubs while your cart is running down those colorful autumn fairways.
